Forfatteren

Christine Getz was born in 1984 in Asker and is a Norwegian independent author.

I wrote Erian – en Tidløs Verden, a book for children and young readers, and founded the publishing house Vevra AS. Try as I might, I cannot stop exploring the possibilities of the future: society, storytelling, technology, the unfiltered way children think, and giving my own curiosity room to roam without limits.

I often wander through the beautiful balance between nature and technology, money and freedom, thought and feeling, feminine and masculine.

Erian – en Tidløs Verden is my first book in a larger universe that is taking up more and more space inside me. The book grew from a wish to give adults something to reach towards, and children a vision of the world worth longing for.

Printed book, e-book or audiobook – who will you invite in this Booktober?

The printed book wants you on the sofa. The e-book slips into your bag. The audiobook has already volunteered to do the washing-up. But which one tells the best story?

Don't just protect your children. Build the future with them.

Leve i øyeblikket. Fellesskap. Samarbeid. Leve i oppnåelse istedenfor i unngåelse. Should we organize society around fear of what we want to avoid, or in love of what we want to create? Because achieving something doesn't happen while we're hiding. We're the adults now. We're building the spaces our children grow up in. We adults, the news, and schools are often good at teaching children what to beware of. But what if we first taught them what is worth building? What is worth

Why are those four in particular being challenged?

Urfraktalen™ When Erian and his friends start at Samspillskolen, They believe they will learn about the world around them in 2045. But the Heavenly Gardens quickly prove to be be something far more than a place for teaching. There are rooms that don't just teach. They are listening. They mirror. Summer reading with children & grandchildren

Summer reading This year, Summer Reading is not just about how many pages a child can read during the summer. Some books are quick reads. Other books stay in your body a little longer. Books can be read alone, aloud with an adult, or in small pieces between swimming, ice cream, traveling and quiet summer evenings. The most important thing is not always the quantity, but that the child will want to open the next page. Some books are easy-to-read joys, with colorful pictures an

The Sillii tablet, back to the 2030s

Sillii ™ The children are from the early 2030s, with the Sillii tablet , which is no longer used. A silicon tablet made of flexible glass. When turned off, it resembles transparent stone. No frame. No buttons. No visible functions. When it comes to life, it only lights up where the information is, while the rest remain silent. “The screen wasn’t made to be stared at all the time, but to answer when someone was ready to see.” Erian - a Timeless World To us, Sillii may look a l

Forfatterens WABI SABI - opplevelse

WABI SABI

Hva er wabi sabi? 🌿 Feilene er gullet i livet vårt. Omfavn dem som vakre og takk dem. I noen tradisjoner lager munkene store, vakre sandmønstre – mandalaer – med utrolig presisjon. Alt er nøye planlagt. Hver farge. Hver linje.
